A crucial international event is due to take place next month in Paris, France. COP21, also known as the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference, will be attended by close to 50,000 participants including more than 20,000 official delegates from government, intergovernmental organizations, United Nations agencies, non-government organizations, civil society, scientists, academe and the media. More than 190 countries aim to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate change to keep the world temperature below 2 degrees Celsius.
